Hello Bear Family and Friends!

My name is Ms. Scranton, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Browning-Pearce Elementary School, home to over 600 amazing Bears!

I am a Putnam County native and a Browning-Pearce Elementary School alumna, so it is truly special to lead the school that helped shape who I am today. I have spent 21 years in the Putnam County School District, where I’ve had the joy of teaching 4th grade, serving as an instructional coach, and working in administration.

My mission is to help our students GROW — by fostering Gratitude, Resilience, Optimism, and Willingness in everything we do. I believe in maintaining an open-door policy and working alongside our staff, students, families, and community partners to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment.

It is such an honor to be a Bear again, and I am looking forward to an amazing year at Browning-Pearce Elementary School!
